Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) through Passport Seva in India, or the Indian mission in your country of residence.
INZ usually asks for police certificates from your country of citizenship and from countries where you have lived for long periods. Check exactly which ones apply to your application.
Documents to start gathering
- Birth and marriage certificates. Regional-language documents need certified English translations.
- Degree certificates and transcripts. Qualification assessment may be needed for residence points.
- Employment references on letterhead with duties, hours and dates
What we often see
- INZ looks closely at education loans and sudden deposits. Show the full trail of funds.
- Work references should describe actual duties that match the role you are claiming.
